Each week, on James’s travels he will be keeping an eye out for likeminded people out for a run/walk – basically anyone “getting active”. Each week we will run short stories on these people and what inspires them. This week we have Nick Quinn. Crazy: What is your exercise regime today? Nick: A gentle 5 mile run as early preparation for the New York Marathon in November. Crazy: What is your main motivation for running/being active? Nick: My girlfriend passed away last year and I want to do something in her memory and to raise money for charity. Crazy: What piece of advice would you give for people who think “I can’t run”? Nick: I would say that they can – just give it a go and you will soon find yourself enjoying it. Remember to stretch though. Crazy: any other comments? 100 miles? You’re bonkers.
